Questions answered simply
What is Holitecture?
Holitecture is a platform that makes sustainable building simple. It brings together three things that belong together but are rarely discussed as one: caring for the environment, caring for people and culture, and caring for cost. The name blends "holistic" and "architecture", because good building should consider the whole picture, not just one part of it.
What does "holistic" mean?
Holistic means looking at the whole of something, not just one piece of it. A holistic approach to housing does not stop at the building. It also considers the people who will live there, their culture, and what they can afford, all at the same time.
What is architecture?
Architecture is the practice of planning and designing buildings and the spaces around them. It is not only about how a building looks, but also about how it works: how people move through it, how it responds to weather and climate, and how well it serves daily life.
Good architecture has always done this. Long before the word "architect" was used in many parts of the world, builders and communities were already designing homes that fit their climate, their materials and their way of life
